LANSING – State Representative Kate Ebli (D-Monroe) interviews Lt. Thad Peterson, commanding officer of the Michigan State Police's Traffic Services Section, on the latest installment of her cable show, "Kate's Capitol Report."
With the Memorial Day holiday weekend kicking off the summer travel season, the show is designed to provide helpful tips for motorists. Check your local listings for airtimes on cable access channels.
"I am pleased that Lt. Peterson had time to come in and share his wealth of knowledge about traffic safety issues," Ebli said. "Lt. Peterson covers a wide range of issues from tips on passing safely through construction zones to how to handle someone with road rage. We spend so much of our lives driving, but don't usually have the chance to hear an expert discuss the behind-the-scenes aspects of our roads, such as how speed limits are set."
